Manchester United Mason Greenwood Reveals His In-Game Advantage For Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

The final stretch of the Premier League featured an intense race for a top-four spot for Manchester United. With a 2-0 win over Leicester City, the Red Devils have secured a Champions League berth in the last game of the season. Among all the factors, Mason Greenwood was among the pivotal pieces for the Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Per Sky Sports by way of Red Devil Armada, Greenwood revealed what fans have been curious about regarding his playing style. While many have speculated that he’s more comfortable with his right foot, there have been several moments that he’s played well with his left foot as well. This has proven to be effective enough to be included in Solskjaer’s lineup.

“I’d say left. Most of my goals this season have been with my left. But I’m comfortable on my right as well. Equal amounts really, that’s the training. It’s just copying it really,” Greenwood shared.

Developing young talent has been one of the key points for Solskjaer’s system given how Greenwood has blossomed as a star for Manchester United. With Greenwood playing well throughout this season, his growth has been pivotal to how his club has recovered in the past few months.

It has been a big change for Manchester United’s roster ever since the games resumed after the coronavirus suspension. Other than Greenwood, another major part of the club’s resurgence is how Paul Pogba turned around his disposition with the team. From being linked to several rumors of leaving to becoming the core leader, Manchester United has been a steady threat across different teams.

The season ended well for Manchester United given how tight the year was across the league. Despite this, young stars such as Marcus Rashford and Greenwood have been consistent during their time on the pitch. Their 2-0 win against Leicester City came at the perfect time as it propelled them to third place with a record of 18 wins, 12 draws and eight losses. The standings positioned Chelsea to fourth place and slid Leicester City to fifth place.

The competition remains tough for Solskjaer and the rest of the club but with Greenwood’s potential, the club is looking good for years to come. It will be interesting to see how Manchester United moves forward with their lineup and how talent such as Greenwood will continue to develop as a rising star for the future.
