ROME, July 15 (Xinhua) — AC Milan has made Simon Kjaer’s loan move permanent on Wednesday as the Serie A elite decided to activate the buy-out clause of the Sevilla’s loanee.
The Danish defender landed on the Peninsula in January on a loan deal with an option to buy. After a series of stunning performances, the 31-year-old has imposed himself at San Siro.
“AC Milan is delighted to announce that the club has exercised its option to purchase Simon Kjaer on a permanent basis from Sevilla FC. The Danish player has signed a contract expiring on 30 June 2022,” read a statement.
According to multiple media outlets, AC Milan will pay a reported 3.5 million euros for the Danish. Enditem
