ULAN BATOR, June 17 (Xinhua) — Mongolia conducted 316 tests for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours and the results were all negative, the country’s National Center for Communicable Disease (NCCD) said Wednesday.
Meanwhile, two more patients have recovered from the disease, taking the total to 111, the NCCD’s head Dulmaa Nyamkhuu said at a daily press conference.
As of Wednesday, Mongolia has confirmed 197 COVID-19 cases, including five foreigners.
The confirmed cases were imported from 10 countries, mostly from Russia, and no local transmissions or deaths have been reported so far, according to the NCCD.
In addition, the country has registered no cases of COVID-19 infection imported from China.
