Myanmar reports 31 new COVID-19 cases


YANGON, Feb. 17 (Xinhua) — The number of COVID-19 cases has risen to 141,690 in Myanmar after 31 new infections were reported in the past 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Sports Ministry on Wednesday.

No death was reported in the past 24 hours and the death toll stood at 3,192, the ministry’s figures said.

A total of 130,944 recovered patients have been discharged from hospitals as of Wednesday.

COVID-19 was first detected in Myanmar on March 23 last year. Enditem
