THE TORONTO RAPTORS have won the 2019 NBA championship after a thrilling Game 6 against the Golden State Warriors – RECAP.

Third quarter: Warriors 88-86 Raptors

Second quarter: Raptors 60-57 Warriors

First quarter: Raptors 33-32 Warriors

0:9.6: RAPTORS TURNOVER! Warriors force Danny Green to turn it over and the Warriors have a chance to win the game with nine seconds left!

0:18.5: Pascal Siakam with a beautiful move inside to put Toronto back up by three. Curry goes down the other end and makes two clutch free-throws. One point game and Toronto have possession.

0:48: DeMarcus Cousins with a big man bucket on the inside to cut the lead to 1. THIS GAME!

1:55: Draymond Green with a big three of his own to cut it back to one possession.

3:40: VANVLEET WITH A BIG THREE! Raptors up by three. He’s got 12 in this quarter!

4:05: Steph Curry can’t hit a three at the moment. Missed his two attempts in the fourth

6:10: The Warriors putting a a dogged defensive effort right now. Andre Iguodala though getting it done in Klay’s absence with 22 points

7:02: Fred VanVleet with a HUGE three to give Toronto the lead! But then Livingston with a couple buckets of his own to send Oakland wild! This game has been crazy!

9:30: Klay Thompson will NOT return to this game. This Warriors team are just out of luck but still fighting!

11:20: Warriors come out strong to open the fourth quarter and have had their longest lead of the game.

Third quarter: Warriors 88-86 Raptors

0:30: Golden State rally though with Thompson back in the locker room and take a two-point lead into the fourth quarter.

2:20: Klay returns to take the free-throws, but he had to otherwise he wouldn’t have been able to return at all.

2:22: Klay Thompson down in serious pain clutching his left knee!

2:52: Klay lighting it up now! 10 points in the third quarter and he has 28 for the night. Four made three-pointers. Meanwhile Kawhi Leonard just picked up his fourth personal.

3:50: Steph Curry with a beautiful move on Siakam for a stepback two and gives the Warriors a four-point lead – their biggest of game. Then Kawhi Leonard goes down the other end, battles through contact for the and-one.

4:58: Klay Thompson with a HUGE three. There is nobody better at catch-and-shooting than that man in the NBA! Warriors regain the lead and Toronto need a timeout.

6:51: Kyle Lowry may be having a big night, but he’s up to four fouls already. Forced to go to the bench so a big chance for the Warriors right now.

8:35: Refs getting it from all angles at the Oracle after that sequence of offence leading to a Curry foul on VanVleet. Looked like a clean swipe from the Warriors star but looked like Kawhi should have been called for a double dribble seconds earlier.

11:20: Steph Curry struggling from three-point range here. He is 1-5. Gets a bit of a dead leg on a screen from Gasol to add to his troubles.

Time to catch your breathe after a wirld first half! Tremendous three-point shooting from the Raptors, led by Kyle Lowry and Pascal Siakam.

Warriors keeping close largely because they’re getting to the free-throw line, but Steve Kerr won’t be happy with 10 turnovers.

Second quarter: Raptors 60-57 Warriors

Klay Thompson 18 PTS; Draymond Green 9 REB, 8 AST

0:30: Lowry danicng in the paint and makes it drop! He’s got 21.

2:10: Lowry absolutely killing it in this first half. Ibaka with 10 points off the bench as well

4:46: Back-to-back alley oops from Draymond to Iguodala! Green already up to eight assists and eight rebounds

6:23: Scoring load taken a break over the last few minutes. Both teams putting in stellar defensive displays at the moment

8:12: Frantic first half continues with both teams going on short scoring bursts. Siakam and VanVleet with back-to-back threes puts Raptors up five. Toronto alreayd have nine three-pointers.

10:30: Warriors already up to 8 turnovers and the Raptors have nine points off those turnovers. That’s what has cost Golden State so much in these Finals.

11:35:Cousins with a big block on Ibaka. That match-up is going to be huge in this game.

First quarter: Raptors 33-32 Warriors

Lowry 15 PTS (4-4 3PTS)

Thompson 10 PTS; Draymond Green 7 REB, 5 AST

At the buzzer: Curry almost connects with a hail mary from under his own bucket. That would have sent the Oracle crowd over the edge!

1:20: It took Curry nearly 11 minutes but he finally has his first bucket with a knockdown three.

2:55: Some big plays from DeMarcus Cousins in the paint playing some bully ball. Warriors crowd feeling it every time their team runs up the floor!

4:10: Warriors have struggled all Finals long with turnovers and it’s costing them again so far. Down six points, Draymond Green already with three turnovers.

5:06: Klay Thompson starting to light it up! He now has two three-pointers and 10 points

9:40: Lowry again! He’s got 11 points inside three minutes.

10:30: KYLE LOWRY IS LOCKED IN! He’s three-for-three to start with the Raptors up 8-0.

Warriors with a nice touch for fans inside the building.

They have banners ‘For Oakland’ with the ‘K’ and ‘D’ highlighted in a special tribute to Kevin Durant.

It’s getting loud inside the Oracle Arena.

There’s set to be a lot of emotion in the Oracle Arena tonight, no matter the outcome.

The Oakland crowd have always been one of the most raucous in the NBA, but that will be ramped up with everything on the line.

How the Raptors deal with it in the moment remains to be seen but Kawhi Leonard has shown throughout these playoffs that he isn’t afraid of the moment.

The Raptors missed the chance to wrap up their maiden NBA title on Monday night as the Warriors battled through adversity to prolong the series.

Kevin Durant’s heartbreaking Achilles injury has been felt by all those in the NBA, in particular the Warriors, who now know they will have to do it without the two-time reigning Finals MVP.

But the Warriors have a proven track record in Game 6s and with it being the last game at the Oracle Arena it’s set to be an electricyfing atmosphere.
