NBA: Magic trade Vucevic, Al-Farouq Aminu to Bulls

The Chicago Bulls acquired Nikola Vucevic and Al-Farouq Aminu from the Orlando Magic in exchange for Wendell Carter JR, Otto Porter, and two first-round picks, an NBA insider said on Thursday.

“Here’s the deal: The Bulls land Nikola Vucevic and Al Farouq Aminu for Otto Porter, Wendell Carter Jr., and two first-round picks. Huge addition for Chicago, who remains in pursuit of Lonzo Ball,” Adrian Wojnarowski wrote on Twitter.

The Magic now move toward rebuilding with forward Aaron Gordon on deck, Wojnarowski added.

The two-time NBA All-star center Vucevic averaged 24.5 points, 11.8 rebounds, and 3.8 assists in 44 games this season.

Nigerian forward Aminu averaged 5.5 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 17 games.
