In a week’s time, people dining in at hundreds of restaurants across the UK will see their bills cut in half thanks to the new Eat Out to Help Out scheme.
It means Nando’s for £1.85, Costa for 32p and Pizza Express Margherita for less than a fiver (with free dough balls thrown as well) to name a few of the offers that will be available.
You don’t need a voucher, and the discount is automatically applied at participating restaurants every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for the whole of August.
There are some limits though.
You only get 50% off up to £10 a person, and it doesn’t apply to alcoholic drinks.
On top of that, you need to eat in – with takeaway and delivery orders excluded.
