Police killed, 2 injured in blast in Afghan capital


KABUL, July 28 (Xinhua) — One policeman was killed and two people were injured as a blast struck a police van in Afghan capital Kabul on Tuesday, police spokesman Ferdaus Faramarz said.

According to the official, the device was a sticky bomb which went off at 07:15 a.m. local time in Badam Bagh area at PD 4, killing one policeman on the spot and wounding two others.

Without providing more details, the official said that an investigation had been initiated into the incident. Enditem
