Taylor Swift’s fans believe the singer may have revealed Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds’ youngest daughter’s name in her new album, “Folklore.”
On Friday, Swift released the 16-song “Folklore,” which features a track titled “Betty.” Fans have speculated that Betty may be Lively and Reynolds’ third child as Swift mentions Lively’s two older children in the song.
“Betty, I know where it all went wrong,” Swift sings. Other lines referencing the couple’s children are, “You heard the rumors from Inez / You can’t believe a word she says” and “She said, ‘James, get in, let’s drive.”
Shortly after Swift dropped “Folklore,” Lively took to her Instagram Stories to gush about the album.
“Can we all please crawl inside that piano with you and live in this album,” the actress wrote. “Like you, Folklore is full of heart, soul, humor, passion, intelligence, wit, whimsy, reality, imagination, strength, vulnerability, and above all things: Love.”
Reynolds and Lively, who are parents to 5-year-old daughter James and 3-year-old Inez, have yet to officially reveal the name of their youngest, who was born late last year. They are extremely private when it comes to their personal lives and prefer to keep their daughters out of the limelight.
“We live as normal a life as we can live. Our kids aren’t a part of Instagram or social media,” Reynolds explained in the past. “I talk about them, but I never post photos of them and neither has Blake. It’s not something we would want to be a part of.”
He said that being in public was a choice people should make on their own. “I would never want them to resent me for that. I want them to have as normal a childhood as possible,” the “Deadpool” actor added.
Swift and Lively have been friends for years, and the actress’ daughter James’ voice has already been featured in Swift’s “Gorgeous” from her 2017 album, “Reputation.”
Confirming the news on “Good Morning America” in 2018, Reynolds said that it was a voice memo that ended up being in the song. “It’s pretty amazing,” Reynolds said. “My daughter has a really, really terrible ego problem now after that song.”
