The coroner has identified three people killed in crashes on or near Route 30.

Authorities in Lancaster County said three people in their twenties were killed in crashes just miles apart last week.

According to the Lancaster County Coroner’s Office, Tinnell A Davis Jr., 23, of Baltimore, and Cayla A Raye, 23, of Aberdeen, Maryland, died in a Wednesday crash that shut down Route 30 for hours.

The couple’s deaths were ruled accidental as a result of multiple traumatic injuries, according to Chief Deputy Coroner Eric Bieber.

According to West Hempfield Township police, Davis and Raye were killed when their red Honda Accord crossed Route 30 from westbound to eastbound and collided with a white box truck.

The couple was declared dead on the spot.

According to police, the three people inside the box truck were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The morning fatal crash occurred near Route 30 and Prospect Road, where police said 29-year-old Mountville motorcyclist Michael Mylott was killed in a crash hours later.

Mylott was driving south on Prospect Road toward the Route 30 on-ramp around 5:17 p.m. when he was hit by a white Ford pickup truck, according to police.

According to the coroner’s office, Mylott was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead from multiple traumatic injuries.

Police said the driver of the pickup truck was unharmed.
