The Only Way Is Essex is the latest reality TV show to resume filming amid the ongoing coronavirus crisis.
The popular ITV show halted production when the UK went into lockdown back in March.
Now, four months later, the TOWIE cast and crew are back in action – but with many more rules and regulations.
Stars of the iconic reality show were today seen sporting face masks and getting their temperatures checked as filming resumed.
Before filming commenced, stars Kelsey Stratford, Ella Rae Wise and Tom McDonnell were all seen wearing masks in a bid to protect themselves and others.
As well as that, ITV bosses have ensured that social distancing measures have been put in place to keep both cast and crew members safe.
Pretty pals Kelsey and Ella Rae were pictured getting their sweat on in the rain during an outside workout session with Tom on Monday.
Upon arriving on set they had to follow the new procedures before the cameras began rolling.
Dressed in tight, neon workout gear, the reality TV stars were urged to sanitise their hands with a selection of alcohol gels that were available on an outside table.
Kelsey and Ella Rae were then seen working out together but from a safe distance as they stuck to the two-metre guidelines.
Meanwhile, handsome Tom joined in the outdoor workout session from afar.
Blonde bombshell Kelsey oozed glamour in a bright pink leotard that hugged her killer curves perfectly.
She was seen keeping dry in the drizzle under a large unbrella.
Her sidekick Ella Rae showcased her perfect pins and toned tummy in a neon green shorts and crop top combo.
The influencer completed her loud look with a matching neon green face mask which tied the daring ensemble together.
The gorgeous pals shielded themselves from the dismal Essex weather as they held two umbrellas above their heads during the workout.
The latest TOWIE snaps come after Essex native Bobby Norris shared some insight on the upcoming series and how production will change.
Speaking to host Stephen Leng on FUBAR Radio’s Access All Areas, Bobby shared how the cast were due to fly out to Tenerife before the lockdown.
Giving a latest update on the situation, Bobby explained: “We had a message recently to say that the team have been working around the clock to kind of logistically figure out how we can do it safely following the government’s guidelines.”
Bobby said producers had been waiting for restrictions to lift to allow the cast to return to their usual haunts.
He explained: “TOWIE is filmed predominantly in bars, restaurants, nightclubs, so up until Saturday, they still weren’t open.
“So unless we filmed a whole series in parks and fields, which wouldn’t make for the best telly!
“I think logistically they’ve really worked around the clock and the team have been so good.”
