MANILA, July 23 (Xinhua) — Two people were killed when a Philippine Air Force (PAF) helicopter crashed on Thursday evening while taking off in Isabela province in the northern Philippines, police said.
According to the PAF, the UH-1D Huey chopper from its 205th Tactical Helicopter Wing was carrying five people and crashed while taking off for NVG Proficiency Training at the Cauayan Air Station at 7 p.m. local time. The five people include two pilots, one back rider and two crew members.
The initial police report said two bodies were retrieved from the burning helicopter while another was injured. Two others were missing, the report added. Enditem
