BREXIT PARTY MEP Ben Habib suffered an intense grilling by Andrew Neil on Wednesday.
The Brexit Party MEP said: “I think the bottom line, Andrew, is that with the benefit of hindsight we may have not pulled out of so many seats. Because clearly Nigel Farage is moving away from what he declared that night.”
At this point, the BBC host lashed out against the Brexit Party MEP pointing out his party is “all over the place”.
He blasted: “As a result of this, it’s all become something of a shambles for you.”
“You’re all over the place now!
“It is a shambles, isn’t it?”
Nigel Farage decided to retract all his party candidates from Tory seats last month when he claimed the Prime Minister had shifted his position on Brexit towards a cleaner break with the EU.
But last week Lance Forman, Lucy Harris and Annunziata Rees-Mogg all resigned the whip to back Tory leader Boris Johnson.
John Longworth also had the whip withdrawn amid accusations he was undermining his own party with his recent remarks.
Mr Farage said: ”Whilst we are disappointed that four of our MEPs don’t seem to understand that we both saved the Conservative party from large scale losses to the Liberal Democrats in the South and South West of England but we are also hammering the Labour Leave vote in its traditional heartlands making it much easier for the Conservatives to win many of those seats.
“The only vote on the Leave side that is currently being split is in areas such as Barnsley, the South Wales Valleys, Doncaster and Hartlepool where there is a risk that the Tories will split our vote.”
Former Tory, now Brexit Party MEP, Ann Widdecombe also attacked the Brexit Party rebels affirming she would remain completely loyal to Nigel Farage.
