Aaron Rodgers Makes a Brutally Honest Admission About His MVP Prospects

The Green Bay Packers, led by Aaron Rodgers, are vying for a second consecutive NFC championship.

The Packers are eyeing a Super Bowl berth after losing back-to-back NFC championship games.

That is a distinct possibility now that Rodgers is playing at a high level once again.

One thing that isn’t, according to Rodgers, is him winning the MVP award again.

Rodgers said it’s a “legitimate statement” that he won’t win MVP again during a recent appearance on Pat McAfee’s show.

“And do you know you’re probably never going to win another MVP?” McAfee asked, referring to Rodgers’ recent COVID-19 vaccine comments.

“It’s unlikely to happen, isn’t it?”

“I believe that is a legitimate statement,” Rodgers joked.

Rodgers realized his comments were divisive after his acceptance speech for not winning the award again.

He admitted at the time, “I shared an opinion that is polarizing, I get it.”

“I misled some people about my status, for which I accept full responsibility, but in the end, I must stay true to who I am and what I stand for.”

I stand by my words.

Despite his remarks, Rodgers is a strong contender for MVP this season.

No player has yet taken over as the favorite for the award in the 2021 season.

Is it possible that Rodgers is involved once more?
