Everton have reportedly ‘opened talks’ with Thiago Silva over a move to Goodison Park.
It was announced last week that Silva would not sign a new contract at PSG, so is available on a free transfer, with six Premier League clubs rumoured to be interested.
And transfer expert Nicolo Schira suggests that Everton may be at the front of the queue to sign the Brazil veteran.

Schira also claims the Silva’s relationship with current Toffees boss Carlo Ancelotti could prove to be a decisive factor.
The Italian boss managed Silva during a spell at Paris Saint-Germain.
It was rumoured that the 35-year-old could return to Fluminese – the club where he rose to prominence before moving to AC Milan – but he has confirmed he has unfinished business in Europe.
According to Sport Bible, he said: “I’m enormously grateful to Fluminense for all that they have given me, but I still have goals to achieve in Europe.”
