Anthony Joshua has taken a cheeky swipe at Tyson Fury after they met in Marbella – for not offering to buy him a drink.
The two heavyweight world champions ran into each other in the party resort last weekend.
Fury, who was driving in his car with his wife Paris, stopped for a short chat with Joshua who was out walking.
The rivals have already agreed terms in principle for a two-fight deal next year, should they come through their interim challenges.
And Joshua told Sky Sports: “It’s only right that me and him will bump heads soon.
“We’re going to put on a great show for the British public and for the world public, it’s going to be a massive fight.
“I’m looking forward to it, but what was cheeky about it was he couldn’t even get out of the car and offer me a drink.
“It wasn’t planned, he was just driving down the strip and I was walking down and we just bumped into each other.
“I don’t know how he saw me because I had my hat on and my mask on, he’s obviously got his eye on me.
“He’s probably following me around but he’s blown his cover!”
Before they can sign on the dotted line to clash in 2021, Fury and Joshua must first see off Deontay Wilder and Kubrat Pulev respectively.
Fury must take on Wilder for a third time having stopped the former world champion in the seventh round of their rematch in February.
And Joshua must first take on mandatory challenger Pulev in a fight set to take place in the UK towards the end of the year.
Fury’s trilogy bout with Wilder has been pencilled in for December 19 in Las Vegas but there remains doubts over the venue due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
