From David Lloyd to Gary Ballance, Azeem Rafiq has been accused of racism by a number of people.

The 30-year-old gave emotional and harrowing testimony to a DCMS select committee tasked with investigating the scandal Rafiq uncovered at Yorkshire Police.

Azeem Rafiq’s long fight for justice after racism “put an end to his career” came to a head on Tuesday when he testified before a select committee hearing of the Department of Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS).

With the added protection of parliamentary privilege afforded by the committee setting, the former Yorkshire all-rounder has accused his ex-employer of being institutionally racist and made more allegations of systemic and individual racism suffered by him and fellow players from ethnic minority backgrounds.

Here is the complete list of players and organizations accused of racism or turning a blind eye, as well as their responses to the allegations:

Ballance has admitted to calling Rafiq a racial slur, but said the two were best friends in a statement two weeks ago.

Ballance, a Zimbabwean who moved to Derbyshire to join the club, was initially seen as an “outsider” by Rafiq.

He claimed their relationship “began to deteriorate in around 2013” after he expressed concern to a shared agent about Ballance’s personal relationships.

Ballance would “describe anyone of color in a very derogatory manner,” according to Rafiq, and it was an “open secret” on England duty.

The ECB has placed Ballance on leave from England.

Following the “Kevin” allegations, Rafiq claimed that Ballance and Hales became “extremely close” and that Hales “named his dog Kevin” because it was black.

It’s disgusting how far it’s devolved into a farce.”

Brooks, according to Rafiq, started a trend of calling India batter Cheteshwar Pujara “Steve” instead of his real name, despite the fact that the overseas player had stated that he would prefer it not to happen.

Brooks is expected to respond on Wednesday, according to the Press Association.

Vaughan has vehemently denied the claim that he told Rafiq and three other Asian-American teammates, “[There are] too many of your lot, we need to do something about it.”

“Michael may not remember it… three of us, Adil [Rashid], myself, and Rana [Naved-ul-Hasan], remember it,” Rafiq said when asked about Vaughan.

He is unlikely to recall it because it has no meaning.
