Kliff Kingsbury Chooses DeAndre Hopkins

During his Friday media session, Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury didn’t have the best news on star receiver DeAndre Hopkins.

Hopkins will miss Sunday’s game against the Seahawks due to a hamstring injury, according to Kingsbury.

Hopkins has missed the last two games due to the same injury, and he will miss a third.

Due to the injury bug, Arizona has been without quarterback Kyler Murray and running back Chase Edmonds for the past two weeks.

Hopkins has been Arizona’s top receiver this season and will be a huge loss for Sunday’s game.

On 35 receptions, he has 486 yards and seven touchdowns, averaging nearly 14 yards per reception.

He last played in a game in October.

In a game against the Green Bay Packers, he scored 28 points.

Before leaving the game with a hamstring injury, he had 66 yards on two receptions.

There was, however, some good news mixed in with the bad.

After practicing this week, Murray is expected to be a game-time decision for the Cardinals.

After a 34-10 loss to Carolina last Sunday, Arizona will try to get back on track against Seattle.

The game will begin at 4:25 p.m.
