Defensive coordinator for the Browns reacts to Myles Garrett’s remark

Following the Cleveland Browns’ rout of the New England Patriots this past Sunday, star defensive back Myles Garrett publicly chastised his defensive coaches for failing to make any adjustments.

Following a sack for the league leader early in the game, the Pats scored 45 unanswered points and held Garrett without a tackle for the remainder of the game.

“We have to go back to the drawing board and see how we can improve, see how we can scheme better, see how we can make adjustments on the fly,” the fifth-year DE told WKYC. “We never had a chance just because we didn’t make any adjustments on the sideline or when we had time to.”

Browns defensive coordinator Joe Woods responded to questions about Garrett’s public complaints on Thursday.

According to Browns insider Jake Trotter, Woods stated, “That stuff doesn’t really bother me.”

The Cleveland head coach also mentioned his team’s three-and-out right after halftime.

Despite the public outcry, Woods maintains that he and Garrett have a strong bond.

With a matchup against the 0-8-1 Detroit Lions this coming weekend, the Browns have a great chance to get back on track.
