Real Madrid will roll out the red-carpet treatment for Eden Hazard when the winger is officially presented to the fans this week.
The Belgium star became the club’s record-signing when his £150million move from Chelsea was finally concluded last Friday.
Hazard, who is currently away on international duty, is expected to be unveiled at the Bernabeu on Thursday.
Spanish outlet Marca are claiming that Madrid have laid down some ambitious plans to give Hazard the grandest of welcomes with hopes of outdoing Cristiano Ronaldo’s unveiling back in 2009.
70,000 fans turned out for the presentation of Portugal star Ronaldo but Madrid are aiming to surpass that.
Hazard’s presentation on Thursday has been scheduled for 7pm local time in a bid to make it more accessible for fans to attend.
Real Madrid’s other big summer signing Luka Jovic, who joined from Frankfurt in a £62m deal following his prolific campaign in Germany, will also be presented to fans this week.
The forward will be officially unveiled as a Madrid player on Wednesday before he leaves to play at the European Under-21 Championships with Serbia.
