Gus Johnson’s Sunday Performance Is Met With Applause In The NFL

The Cleveland Browns take on the New York Jets on Sunday afternoon.

On paper, the Detroit Lions game isn’t that exciting.

The Browns, who are 5-5 on the season, are dealing with a hampered Baker Mayfield, who is more “banged up” than he has ever been.

The Lions are starting backup Tim Boyle, who is winless on the season (though he did tie the Steelers last week).

As a result, there isn’t much to get excited about in this one for fans.

Gus Johnson, thankfully, is available.

Johnson’s decision to call the Browns vs. Steelers game is not without controversy.

However, it’s a Lions game.

Johnson also had something to say to the Lions’ coaching staff.

On Sunday afternoon, he wants to see more from their quarterback.

So far, it’s been all Browns.

On Sunday afternoon, Cleveland leads Detroit, 13-0.

The game will be broadcast on FOX this afternoon.
