Jordan Henderson has hailed former teammate Philippe Coutinho amid speculation over a return to Liverpool this summer.
Coutinho played alongside Henderson before leaving Anfield for Barcelona for £142million in 2018.
But the Brazil international has struggled in La Liga and has spent this season on loan at Bayern Munich.
And Barcelona are seemingly desperate to part ways with the 28-year-old, offering to pay part of his wages if a loan can be agreed, and slashing the asking price for any permanent deal.

A number of Premier league clubs including Chelsea, Tottenham and Newcastle are said to be interested, but the playmaker favours a move to Liverpool, and has reportedly spoken to Jurgen Klopp about a potential return.
And amid the speculation of an Anfield reunion, Henderson has opened up on his admiration for the midfielder.
“[Coutinho is] So good as a player, technically,” he told Rio Ferdinand on The Locker Room.
“Again just loved playing football, wanted to be out there enjoying playing football. Such a top player and a great lad as well.”
