Jared Goff’s Game Status With The Lions Has Been Officially Announced

For Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff, it’s been a frustrating season.

He’s also dealing with an injury that isn’t helping matters.

Goff’s status for Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns was listed as “doubtful” by the Lions on Friday.

He’s effectively out for Sunday because nearly all players listed as questionable don’t play.

This season, Goff has completed 66.1 percent of his passes.

He has 2,109 yards, eight touchdowns, and six interceptions on the season.

He’s fumbled the ball seven times as well.

Tim Boyle, a fourth-year quarterback, is expected to take Goff’s place.

In his NFL career, Boyle has only played in 11 games and thrown four passes.

It will be his first, assuming he gets the start.

The Detroit Lions have a winless record of 0-8-1, thanks in part to a lackluster offense.

This season, they’ve only scored 150 points in nine games, averaging less than 17 points per game.

First-time starters like Cooper Rush and Mike White, on the other hand, have wowed in their debuts.

Boyle might be able to light a fire under them.

There aren’t many ways for the Lions’ season to get any worse, aside from continuing their losing streak.

They should probably start evaluating the roster from the top down at this point in the season.

Will Tim Boyle, in his first NFL start, be able to make an impact for the Lions, and how long will Jared Goff be out?
