After his game-winning catch against Texas on Saturday, Kansas walk-on Jared Casey became an instant Jayhawks legend.

Casey’s two-point conversion sealed Kansas’ 57-56 victory over Texas, the Wildcats’ first win over the Longhorns in school history.

And he’s not finished yet.

Casey made the news once more on Saturday when he made another spectacular catch.

This time it’s a sideline one-hander.

On Twitter, Jesse Newell of the Kansas City Star shared the screenshot.

The fullbacktight end’s first official receiving yards come as a result of the one-handed snag.

The yards gained on the two-point conversion are technically not counted in the final box score.

Since his catch against Texas, Casey, a campus legend, has signed multiple NIL contracts.

According to Newell, the walk-on struck a deal with a local Applebee’s for $800 in cash and $1,000 in gift cards.

He’s reportedly working with Lewis Automotive Group and a shirt company, which isn’t bad for a freshman walk-on on a 1-9 Kansas football team.

We’ll see if Casey can keep his real-life “Road to Glory” storyline going for the rest of his Jawhawk career.

If he keeps making plays like this, he’ll become a Rock Chalk legend.

That might already be the case.
