If you watched today’s Lakers–Pistons game, you saw at least some of the wild scene involving Pistons center Isaiah Stewart relentlessly pursuing LeBron James.

However, while Stewart is likely to face serious consequences, LeBron was ejected for the events that led up to it.

The game was stopped in the middle of the third quarter, with Detroit leading LA 78-66, as Stewart and LeBron became enraged.

Stewart began to bleed around his right eye and attempted to hit LeBron with a shot.

The two had to be separated by security, but not before Stewart attempted to charge at LeBron three times.

At first, fans were perplexed, but Stewart’s rage quickly became apparent.

LeBron committed a flagrant foul on Stewart, swinging his fist backwards and slamming his fist into Stewart’s face.

Stewart’s nose could have also been hurt by LeBron.

Here’s the video of LeBron’s foul that started the brawl and resulted in his ejection:

Isaiah Stewart was, of course, ejected as well.

After being charged with a flagrant-2 on the play, LeBron James will be suspended for one game.

But, as a result of his retaliation, Stewart is likely to miss at least a few games and face a hefty fine from the NBA.

Should LeBron or Stewart apologize for their actions in this situation?
