Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku has ‘agreed personal terms’ with Inter Milan.

The Belgian is new manager Antonio Conte’s top target and wants to leave Old Trafford for the San Siro this summer.

Gazzetta dello Sport report that the forward has accepted terms that could see him earn £6.6million in bonuses until 2024.

Negotiations between the two clubs continue to rumble on and United are understood to want at least £62m.

The 26-year-old seems to be angling for a move having seen his playing time reduced under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer last season when Marcus Rashford was deployed as a central striker.

‘I was always a big fan of the Italian League,’ he told Sport Mediaset.

‘I have two Leagues, which I’ve always dreamed about – the English League and Serie A.

‘Serie A is my [other]favourite League – I love Italy. With the transfer of [Cristiano] Ronaldo, I think the Italian League is now coming back.

‘Antonio Conte going to Inter is really good because he is, [for]me, the best manager in the world.’

‘He [Conte] knows what I think about him. I’m not somebody who likes to talk about my personal relationships with managers but, you know, I’m a player of Manchester United and I have to respect my club.’

United may be keen to cash in on Lukaku to help fund moves for other transfer targets in what is expected to be a busy summer for the club.
