Wednesday’s practice was canceled due to the absence of two important Bears players.

The Chicago Bears’ injury situation did not appear to improve during the week 10 bye week.

On each side of the ball, two of the team’s best players were absent from practice on Wednesday.

With lingering injuries, linebacker Khalil Mack and wide receiver Allen Robinson were both ruled out.

Mack hasn’t played for the Bears since Week 7 of the season.

Chicago’s most feared pass rusher has yet to play in the team’s final two games before the bye.

Matt Nagy, the Bears’ head coach, said earlier this week that he hopes Mack will be able to return from his foot injury against the Ravens this Sunday.

Robinson, the Bears’ top receiver, suffered a hamstring injury in Week 9 against the Steelers.

The Pro Bowler is still nursing it even after the bye week.

Jimmy Graham, Akiem Hicks, Danny Trevathan, and Elijah Wilkinson were among the other Chicago players who did not play on Wednesday.

Limited patricipants included wide receiver Darnell Mooney, linebacker Alec Ogletree, and running back Damion Williams.

With the Ravens’ Lamar Jackson coming to town, the Bears could certainly use Khalil Mack on the edge. At 3-6, Chicago needs a win on Sunday to stay afloat in the NFC North.
