Man Utd are not currently pursuing deals for Real Madrid left-back Sergio Reguilon and Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcantara, according to a report.
Reguilon is one of five players the Red Devils should sign if they want to challenge for the Premier League title with reports claiming that Real Madrid are happy for him to leave this summer.
The Madrid academy graduate has struggled to break into the first team under Zinedine Zidane, with Marcelo and Ferland Mendy currently battling for the spot on the left side of the defence.

And recent reports have claimed that Man Utd ‘would be willing’ to offer €30m with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer tempting Reguilon to join.
Liverpool are understood to be leading the race for Bayern’s Thiago but the Red Devils were recently described as ‘late to party’ as they held talks with the Spaniard.
However, The Athletic journalist Laurie Whitwell now claims that ‘there are certainly people close to the club who would welcome the arrival of’ Reguilon but ‘conversations are predominantly one-way’ with Man Utd offered the player by Real Madrid.
On Thiago, Whitwell insists the Premier League side ‘are well aware he wishes to leave Bayern Munich and know the numbers such a move would involve’.
However, with Liverpool in pole position, ‘United are not presently pursuing it’.
