Right now, Bart Scott names his top five picks for NFL MVP.

We’re halfway through the 2021 NFL season, and the top teams are all battling it out.

There is no clear favorite for the MVP award this year, as there has been the previous three years.

ESPN’s Bart Scott, on the other hand, thinks he’s narrowed the field a little.

Scott named and ranked his top five candidates for the NFL MVP award on Friday’s episode of Get Up.

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers topped his list.

It’s not the worst pick in the world, given that the Packers are tied for the best record in the NFL and Rodgers is picking up right where he left off last year.

Dak Prescott of the Dallas Cowboys came in second, followed by Lamar Jackson of the Baltimore Ravens in third.

Quarterbacks Tom Brady of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills are ranked fourth and fifth, respectively.

This season, all five of those quarterbacks have been outstanding.

They’re all starters for teams that have a chance to win the Super Bowl by the end of the season.

Kyler Murray, who appeared to be the overwhelming favorite to win the award before suffering an injury, was left off the list.

He could be back on the list if he returns to his pre-injury form.
