The Chargers are said to have received a significant boost ahead of their game against the Patriots.

On Sunday, the Los Angeles Chargers are expected to reclaim arguably their best defensive player.

LA plans to activate pass rusher Joey Bosa from the COVID-19 list, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Due to his close contact with defensive lineman Jerry Tillery, he was placed on the injured reserve list for this week.

The Chargers will benefit greatly from having Bosa in the lineup as they attempt to contain the Steelers’ rushing attack, which is led by Najee Harris.

Bosa has 28 total tackles (20 solo), 5.5 sacks, and three forced fumbles to his credit so far this season.

In the passing game, Bosa will look to be a game-changer.

Due to the Steelers’ offensive line’s pass protection issues, this could be a matchup where Bosa shines.

It’s not out of the question that he’ll face tackle Dan Moore, Jr., who has struggled at times this season.

Los Angeles is also hoping to shake its funk.

The Chargers started the season with a 5-4 record after winning four of their first five games.

At 8:20 p.m., the game will begin.
