The Jaguars’ Injury Report Has a Notable Addition

James Robinson, a running back for the Jacksonville Jaguars, missed Week 9 due to a heel injury he sustained in Week 8.

In Week 10, the second-year rusher was able to return to the field and produce at a high level, but he remains out for Week 11.

Robinson now has another injury designation in addition to his heel injury.

The Jaguars’ starting running back was listed as a non-participant with a heel/knee injury on Wednesday’s injury report.

Robinson’s knee injury isn’t serious, according to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, and the designation is “mostly precautionary.”

Robinson had 57 yards and a touchdown on 12 rushes during the Jaguars’ Week 10 loss to the Indianapolis Colts.

On four receptions, he gained another 27 yards of offense.

Carlos Hyde, the backup running back, was listed as a limited participant with a shoulder injury on the injury report.

Jacksonville (2-7) will face the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, with Robinson hopefully back to full strength.

The Jaguars have made a significant addition to their injury list.
