The NFL Community Reacts To DeAndre Hopkins’ Departure on Friday

DeAndre Hopkins, the Arizona Cardinals’ all-world wide receiver, will be out of the lineup once more.

Hopkins has been ruled out of Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks after failing to practice due to a hamstring injury.

During the last few weeks, the Cardinals have been without Hopkins and star quarterback Kyler Murray.

They’ve gone 1-1 without them, but they still lead the NFC West division.

Hopkins, on the other hand, has yet to fully recover from an ankle injury sustained against the Green Bay Packers in Week 8.

This week, he did not practice at all.

This season, Hopkins has 35 receptions for 486 yards and seven touchdowns in eight games.

He has the most receiving touchdowns on the team and is tied for second in total touchdowns.

Fans of the five-time Pro Bowler are understandably enraged.

Some are urging the Cardinals to keep him quiet during their Week 12 bye, while others are worried about the impact on their fantasy teams:

At the moment, the Arizona Cardinals have a top-ten offense and a top-five defense.

They were 7-0 to begin the season and appeared to be the best team in the league.

The Cardinals, on the other hand, have gone 1-2 in their last three games.

And they wouldn’t be the NFC’s best team if the playoffs started today.

Will DeAndre Hopkins return after the Cardinals’ bye week, and will he have a significant impact for the rest of the season?
