Tyson Fury has said that making a film about his life is “in the pipeline” following his incredible comeback in recent years.
The Gypsy King defeated Deontay Wilder back in February to become the WBC heavyweight champion.
It came after the pair had drawn their first fight in December 2018, although many believe the American was fortunate not to lose the contest.
Fury has struggled with mental health issues since first becoming world champion back in 2015 after he beat Wladimir Klitschko.
But his epic journey back to the summit of boxing is worthy of Hollywood and the 31-year-old admits he’s “had offers” about making a film.
Only last week he claimed that he would love for Oscar winner Denzel Washington to play him.
And when asked by Dev Sahni on the Lockdown Lowdown if he had made contact with the legendary actor he said: “I haven’t at the moment because I am going to finish my career before doing a movie.
“We have had offers for the rights of the Tyson Fury movie from some of the biggest TV companies in the world.
“So it’s in the pipeline but I’m not willing to do it right now because I’ve still got more important things to think about this time in my career.
“[For example] Beating up all the leftover contenders and champions that are left.”
Fury is set for a trilogy fight with Wilder before taking on fellow Brit Anthony Joshua.
It has been revealed this week that Fury has agreed a two-fight deal to take on the current WBA, WBO, IBF and IBF champion next year.
Joshua’s next fight was going to be against IBF mandatory Kubrat Pulev this summer prior to the Covid-19 pandemic.
