UFC star Jon Jones helped save a man’s life alongside a group of “heroes” on Saturday.

The MMA ace, 32, found a man slumped on the ground – seemingly suffering from severe dehydration – on July 4, American Independence Day.

Along with a group of passers-by, “Bones” moved the man to the shade, force-fed him water and a bite to eat in a desperate bid to revive him.

Jones recalled the incredible afternoon on Twitter, accompanied by a series of pictures showing himself and his fellow “heroes” rescuing the stricken man.

In a string of tweets, Jones – the reigning UFC lightweight champion – wrote: “Together we stand, hope you guys enjoy your Fourth of July.

“We found this man laying in the middle of a field today, he was suffering from severe dehydration.

We found this man laying in the middle of a field today, he was suffering from severe dehydration. The group honestly believe we saved that man’s life. It felt amazing, those men and women were heroes out there today https://t.co/2DcPZ95J9n

“We dragged him underneath a tree and forced him to drink about four water bottles. Even got him to bite a hotdog before we left.

“Definitely not trying to paint myself as some hero, I was more proud for my group members to be honest.

“Some of the younger kids got to learn some valuable lessons today.”

Yes we dragged him underneath a tree and forced him to drink about four water bottles. Even got him to bite a hotdog before we left 🤷🏾‍♂️ https://t.co/ABQiG7mURU

Jones – who turned his life around following his drink-driving arrest – last fought at UFC 247, scoring a unanimous decision victory over Dominick Reyes to retain his light heavyweight title.

But since then, he has been locked in a contract dispute with UFC chief Dana White.

Despite the drama, Jones’ July 4 ended with a bang – enjoying some fireworks before taking part in a sweet singalong with his daughter.
