Jonathan Woodgate is set to be unveiled as the new manager at Middlesbrough this week, according to The Sun.
And former Leeds and Tottenham striker Robbie Keane could join him as a coach at the Championship club.
Woodgate, aged 39, has been widely-tipped to take charge following the departure of Tony Pulis last month.
Woodgate worked as first-team coach under Pulis but is now poised to take on his first managerial job after talks with Boro owner Steve Gibson.
Woodgate is considering asking Keane, who played with him at Leeds and Tottenham, to join him at the Riverside.
The 38-year-old is currently one of Mick McCarthy’s assistants at Republic of Ireland.
