SPOTIFY is said to be working on a karaoke mode.
A screenshot of the rumoured feature has been ‘leaked’ on Twitter.

Popular ‘hidden feature’ finder Jane Wong posted the screenshot to her Twitter account.
Wong is known for digging inside app software in the search of new features being tested.
The screenshot shows large lyrics on the screen and an option for more or less vocals from the artist.
As the song example was Rick Astley’s ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’, some Twitter users were sceptical over the legitimacy of the feature.
This is because the same Astley song and video has been used to prank people in the past as part of a viral stunt called “rick-rolling”.
However, Wong reassured followers that it wasn’t a prank.
The screenshot also shows a little microphone icon that could symbolise the karaoke mode.
As with all rumoured and tested features, we won’t know for sure if karaoke mode will become an official aspect of Spotify until an official announcement is given.
Spotify often tests features on a small number of users without rolling them out completely.
A Spotify spokesperson told us: “At Spotify, we routinely conduct a number of tests in an effort to improve our user experience.
“Some of those tests end up paving the path for our broader user experience and others serve only as an important learning.
“We have no further news to share at this time.”

Wong previously tweeted that Spotify is also working on a way for people who use the free version of Spotify to be able to listen offline.
However, the rumour suggests this would only be possible for 30 minutes a day.
In other news, a mysterious bug that can crash your WhatsApp is being spread via a specific text.
Instagram Stories have started to appear on Facebook.
And, Facebook will ban political ads in the week before the US presidential election set to take place on November 3.
