The Sims 4 Star Wars: Journey to Batuu is out now for PC, Mac, PlayStation 4, and of course, Xbox One. For those who love simulation games with Sims and addicted to rewatching or rereading the Star Wars franchise. Here’s a special treat for you.
For a price of just $19.99, or $39.99 bundled with the Sims 4 game, you can have an all-night gaming trip to Batuu, or better known as the Galaxy’s Edge land at Walt Disney World in Florida or Disneyland in California. Here’s what you need to know.
The wait is now finally over. The Sims 4 Star Wars: Journey to Batuu is now available as the simulation’s newest expansion package.
A lot from the familiar faces in the original Star Wars series will show up, so make sure you’ll not miss this chance.
As Tech Times recently reported, once you enter the game, you will get to pick one out of the three choices: Black Spire Outpost, First Order District, and Resistance Encampment.
Depending on which Star Wars character you like more, players will get to decide which side you are more in favor of: the Resistance or the First Order.
Black Spire Outpost is in a more neutral mode, in which players can get to see Resistance members or get close with Stormtroopers.
First Order District, however, lets you partner with Kylo Ren. Meanwhile, Resistance Encampment takes you home with the Resistance members to see Rey and Vi Moradi.
Like the standard Sims game, each of your decisions throughout the game will affect your chances of finishing your tasks and more.
One thing’s difference is the game’s currency will change into Batuu currency, which is called Galactic credits, compared to its former currency called simoleons.
As mention earlier, in the game, you can choose whether to pledge allegiance to The Resistance or The First Order. That also means choosing between Kylo Ren or Rey.
As reported via CNN, each of the sides you’ll choose will have unique challenges attached to them. Most of the missions involve scanning ships, like a land-speeder, the Millenium Falcon, or a Tie Fighter. You’ll use your datapad – your phone – to scan and learn about the ships.
Interestingly, the report also explains that you can get to play with the two teams if you want. Now, that’s fun.
Oh, before we forget, you can also have your own lightsaber stick. Players only need to collect the necessary items and wield your saber.
Players can also challenge other Sims if they’re up for the challenge of a lightsaber battle. Or better yet, invite Kylo Ren or Rey.
