Heads-up Call of Duty Fans and Players: Reddit’s viral post of a ‘Multiplayer Beta Code Giveaway’ for the upcoming title from Activision and Treyarch, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, will be dropping anytime this week and in the coming days. The sixth installment of Black Ops and seventh Call of Duty game from the franchise, Call of Duty: Black ops Cold War, is coming soon this year, 2020, and fans worldwide await its release. The game has amassed a wide-following and fanbase already, despite the title not yet hitting the mainstream.
The game is scheduled to have its Open Beta access on October 15, according to Blizzard’s Battle.Net, the PC Platform distributor of the game. The game would have its complete and full-version release in the last quarter of 2020, particularly on November 13.
Call of Duty recently released the Multiplayer trailer for BOCW that broadly hints the new mode, which will host a fun-filled carnage that made the CoD franchise famous. This trailer gave the fans a first-look on how multiplayer matches would look like in the actual game, adding to the hype Black Ops Cold War already generated.

A Reddit post by u/LackingAGoodName in the community r/blackopscoldwar became the community’s pinned post and went viral overnight. The post shared the mechanics on how to participate in the ‘Multiplayer Beta Giveaway Code’ that will allow the public to play the game’s multiplayer mode and other exciting prices.
According to the post, Activision and Treyarch ‘celebrates’ with the public due to the warm reception of the featured mode of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. The Redditor then explained that the Beta Codes would be distributed across three social media platforms: Reddit, Discord, and Twitter.
The mechanics are simple but varies on different platforms. On the social news aggregator and forums website, Reddit, the public needs an active Reddit account to comment on the post thread.
On the instant messaging and digital distribution platform, Discord, users would need to download the application or open this link on their browser. The link would prompt both mobile and computer browsers to join Call of Duty’s Discord server. Head on to the #beta-giveaway channel of the server to learn more.

Pre-orders are available now, which comes in two packages: Standard and Ultimate versions. The Standard version would feature the full game on November and the Early Access Beta in October with the ‘Confrontation Weapons Pack’ and ‘Woods Operator Pack for immediate use in Modern Warfare and Warzone,’ for $59.99.
On the other hand, the Ultimate Version would have the four bundle as mentioned earlier, together with ‘Land, Sea and Air Pack (9 items)’ and ‘Battle Pass Bundle (1 Season Battle Pass + 20 Tier Skips)’ for $89.99
