Ivanka Trump opted for a risque, summery number consisting of an all white semi-sheer blouse and a flowing skirt as she left her house early on Tuesday morning.
The First Daughter appeared happy carefree as she smiled for the cameras, and even waved to photographers, while walking out of her Washington, D.C. home around 8am.
Embracing the summer season, Ivanka went without a coat or a jacket, and instead opted for a flowing all-white ensemble, donning a simple semi-sheer blouse, and a matching pleated skirt.
The mother-of-three looked full of energy as she walked out on Tuesday morning, grinning brightly at the cameras.
Although temperatures hovered at around 60 degrees Fahrenheit when Ivanka was seen leaving her home – a far cry from the balmy summer temperatures D.C. is used to – Ivanka chose to rock an incredibly summery outfit for the day, topping it off with a pair of very glam white shades.
The sheer pleated skirt is actually an old all-season favorite of the First Daughter, who was seen wearing it as part of an autumnal ensemble back in October 2018, when she paired it with a chic black jacket.
The skirt cinches in at the waist, highlighting her petite figure and toned stomach.
She teamed the ensemble with a pair of white, slip-on flats, and accessorized with a matching white handbag that she carried by her side.
Ivanka also donned a pair of funky sunglasses that had a slight cat-eye appearance, which gave the outfit a more edgy vibe, and she also wore a pair of hoop earrings.
Her makeup appeared dewy and fresh, and she wore a light-pink lip color, while her hair was loosely gripped back, leaving her straight blonde locks hanging loosely around her shoulders.
And it seems that Ivanka’s all-white outfit was certainly a confidence booster, with the White House advisor looking happy and carefree as she strutted her stuff on the sidewalk outside the D.C. home that she shares with husband Jared Kushner and their three children.
The First Lady even waved to the cameras before jumping into a car and driving off for a day’s work.
She took to Twitter shortly after leaving the house, revealing that she was on her way to Capitol Hill for the day.
‘Today, I will be on the Hill unveiling the Administration’s comprehensive Women, Peace and Security (#WPS) Strategy. #WGDP,’ she said.
She added: ‘#WGDP recognizes the good defense policy requires women’s participation and empowerment, yet women are critically underrepresented in conflict-resolution and post-conflict peace building efforts. (2% of mediators, 3% of military personnel, 9% of negotiators globally)’
‘Almost 20 years after @UN Resolution 1325, the U.S. is proud to show leadership as the first and only Country in the world with a comprehensive law on Women, Peace and Security, #WPS; bipartisan legislation signed into law by @POTUS Trump,’ she said.
Ivanka’s appearance comes just one week after she was travelling around various European countries alongside her father, Donald Trump.
She was also accompanied by husband Jared Kushner on the trip, which saw members of the Trump clan visiting several countries including the U.K., France and the Netherlands.
While in the U.K., photographers snapped a photograph of the First Daughter and Jared, 38, as the pair stared out of a window in Buckingham Palace.
Ivanka was wearing a similar all-white outfit in the photograph, which quickly became a meme after people on Twitter found the image ‘eerie’ and ‘haunting’.
Some users even compared the image to scenes from famous horror movies, including The Shining, The Omen, and Flowers in the Attic.
In the photo, Ivanka and Jared are standing side by side and surrounded by light white curtains that match her outfit while peering outside.
‘I didn’t know they were remaking The Shining! Terrifying!’ one woman tweeted.
Another person added: ‘I see the creepy twins from The Shining have been given a grown up reboot.’
However, despite the photo being made fun of, Ivanka seemed to like it as she posted a near-identical image to her Instagram page, with a caption that read: ‘Looking forward to another great day in London #USStateVisit.’
