Kendall Jenner’s stalker is deported back to Canada

A stalker who showed up at Kendall Jenner’s home twice last year has been deported from the US.

John Ford, a Canadian citizen, was arrested by ICE agents in New Mexico in March and was ordered to return to his home country at his hearing in El Paso, Texas, this week, TMZ reports.

The 38-year-old was on an expired visitor visa and was in the country illegally.

TMZ reported at the time: ‘Ford entered the U.S. a year ago Friday from Canada at Sweetwater, Montana, with a non-immigrant B-2 visa, which allowed him to stay here for no longer than 6 months.’

‘This timely arrest could very well have prevented a violent crime,’ HSI El Paso special agent in charge, Jack P. Staton told TMZ at the time.

Adding: ‘Our special agents acted quickly on this tip to ensure that this obsessive behavior didn’t escalate to become a tragedy.’

ICE had been tracking Ford for several weeks before ‘HSI special agents, officers with ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations’ apprehended him in the parking lot of a hotel in Albuquerque, New Mexico, The Blast reported.

Kendall was granted a permanent restraining order against Ford in November last year.

A judge approved a five-year order barring Ford from being within 100 yards of the model, according to TMZ.

In October Ford, 38, was arrested for trespassing after he broke into the gated community where the 22-year-old model resides, according to The Blast, who were able to obtain photos of Ford.

To access the exclusive property Ford had to scale the side of a mountain adjacent to the property and managed to get into Kendall’s pool area.

After being apprehended Authorities put him on a 5150 psychiatric hold, at which point – due to his lack of insurance – he was transported to Los Angeles County Hospital for a psychiatric evaluation.

Ford was determined to be stable mentally by a psychiatrist, and released from the hold well short of the 72-hour maximum.

Upon his release, police arrested him in connection with criminal trespassing and violation of a restraining order, with officials setting bail at $30,000.

Ford had previously been arrested in September after a break-in where he had ended up on Kendall’s porch.

He later plead guilty to a trespassing charge and was issued a restraining order to remain at least 1,000 feet in distance from the property.

It’s not the first time the model has had a terrifying encounter with a stalker.

In 2016 Kendall testified in court against alleged stalker Shavaughn McKenzie after he followed her to her Hollywood Hills home.

For his actions, McKenzie was charged with one count of misdemeanor stalking and one court of misdemeanor trespassing.

Addressing the judge during the 2016 trial, Jenner said: ‘I really don’t feel safe in my own house.’
